A Legacy of Trust and Excellence
Established in 1926, Edelman’s is a family-owned business spanning four generations. Located in Jenkintown with markets in Philadelphia and New Jersey, the store specializes in buying, selling, and appraising coins, paper money, gold/silver bullion, and rare collectibles.

Project Goals
Our partnership with Edelman’s aimed to create a website that reflects the store’s premium status and long-standing reputation. The task was to modernize the site while emphasizing Edelman’s rich history and expertise.

The Redesign Journey
To kick off the design process, our New Jersey team arranged a photo shoot to capture dynamic shots of Andrew Edelman handling precious items. This session also included filming the bold video header featured on the homepage. With authentic store visuals integrated throughout, the new site looks beautiful and serves as a powerful tool for customer engagement.

A Powerful Campaign
Our philosophy at eDesign Interactive is that a website is an evolving platform that should work in tandem with broader marketing efforts. While Edelman’s site is eye-catching, the real magic happens behind the scenes.
Our strategy focuses on a hyper-targeted campaign concentrated in a relatively small geographic area around Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, where we attract new potential customers through paid ads while avoiding repetitive messaging for existing ones. We strategically rotate keywords, adjust locations, and refresh ad copy to keep the campaign dynamic and engaging.

Gold Rush
A turning point came when gold prices surged to an all-time high over the summer. We quickly adapted our paid ads and blog topics to capitalize on this opportunity, driving even more traffic to the website. Being adaptable and ready to seize on timely market trends has made our marketing campaign wildly successful. 

Consistency is Key
While paid advertising was driving immediate results, we also wanted to leverage the power of organic SEO. Our approach included auditing and updating Edelman’s online content for consistency and relevance. Alt tags, meta descriptions, and relevant keywords were added for extended reach and visibility. We worked directly with Andrew Edelman to review all blog articles, social media profiles, and local listings (LinkedIn, Yelp, Google, etc.).

Leveraging Expert Knowledge
Andrew Edelman's expertise in gold and silver bullion, rare coins, and collectibles has become a valuable resource for potential customers. Andrew’s articles, like the one on the history of coins, resonate with investors and collectors and perform well in SEO. To boost results, we optimize each article with carefully chosen keywords, ensuring they are indexed and ranked highly. We collaborate with Andrew each month to identify compelling topics that align with our SEO strategy.

Marketing Impact
Since the new website launched in January 2024, we are proud to announce that Edelman’s business has grown significantly. The SEO campaign we started in February was highly successful. As a result, Edelman’s has achieved excellent visibility in its market, with increased engagement on social media and more traffic to the website.
Key results:
Increased website traffic: A 55% increase in web traffic and a 24% increase in conversions.
Improved organic search: Organic clicks from Google have risen by 62.1%.
Strong social media engagement: Our digital campaigns deliver 286,000 impressions and 12,535 ad clicks monthly. These clicks lead to 863 calls, emails, and contact form submissions.
Increased sales: Edelman's Coins has achieved record-breaking sales for several consecutive months.

Organic SEO optimization: Updating website content, social media profiles, and local listings to ensure consistency and improve search engine rankings.
Content creation: Creating SEO-friendly blog posts to provide valuable insights into the coin-collecting world.
Overall, we attribute the campaign's success to a combination of strategic planning, effective execution, and a deep understanding of the target audience.
